McDonald’s Microsite
To amplify the impact of the McDonald’s 16th Annual Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour, especially in conjunction with the HBCU Homecoming battle of the bands' competition, a strategic digital experience was crucial.
Recognizing the significance of this historic collaboration, I meticulously designed a bespoke digital hub to serve as the central nerve center for the HBCU Exhibition. The primary goal was to seamlessly channel engagement around the captivating content and, more importantly, to facilitate the voting process that would ultimately determine the winning HBCU.
The user experience (UX) design of the digital hub was thoughtfully crafted to captivate and immerse visitors in the vibrant atmosphere of the event. Intuitive navigation pathways were established to effortlessly guide users through the dynamic content, such as performance highlights, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and impactful stories from participating HBCUs.
A user-friendly voting system was integrated into the platform, ensuring a frictionless and inclusive process for individuals to cast their votes in support of their favorite HBCU choir or band. Social media integration further amplified the reach and engagement, enabling users to share their experiences, encourage participation, and foster a sense of community around the event.
The UX design not only prioritized aesthetics but also aimed to enhance accessibility, responsiveness, and overall user satisfaction. The digital hub became a vibrant space where the rich cultural tapestry of the HBCU Exhibition and the McDonald’s Gospel Tour seamlessly converged, fostering a sense of excitement, community, and celebration.
