Baltimore City STI Brochures

As the Creative and Art Director for this crucial initiative, I assumed a pivotal role in translating the principles of human-centered design into a visual and communicative masterpiece. Collaborating closely with the Social Innovation team, healthcare professionals, and the community, I orchestrated a design strategy that prioritized empathy, inclusivity, and the authentic representation of users' experiences.

My responsibilities extended beyond mere aesthetics; I infused every aspect of the STI brochure creation process with a keen understanding of the community's unique needs. Leading the design team, I curated visuals, layouts, and messaging that not only conveyed essential information but also resonated with the diverse experiences of the users in Baltimore.

The human-centered design process, under my creative direction, became a dynamic and iterative journey. Constantly seeking input and feedback from both healthcare professionals and the community, we refined and evolved the brochures to ensure they were not only visually engaging but also genuinely effective in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their sexual health.

Through my role as the Creative and Art Director, I aimed not only to elevate the aesthetic appeal of the STI brochures but also to ensure they served as a bridge between healthcare providers and the community. The result is a set of materials that transcend traditional health communication, presenting information in a culturally sensitive, relatable, and engaging manner.

In essence, my role was not just about design; it was about orchestrating an immersive and impactful visual narrative that echoes the essence of the human-centered design process and leaves a lasting impact on the community it serves.
